I'm back...

The annual Captivate Student Media Conference starts tomorrow, and after a lot of planning, phoning, spending money... finding it first, and arranging speakers it seems as if it's all systems go! On the line up this year we have Unathi Nkayi, Bad Boy T from Metro Fm, Graeme Joffe from 94.7, Matthew Buckland to name but a few... We also have many delegates from across the country coming here too, so I think this is going to be the best we've seen yet. I'd like to welcome Kirby back to Grahamstown... I hope we make you proud!

In other news TV star Richard Hammond is fighting for his life, after a terrible car crash. The Top Gear star was left fighting for his life after a horror 315mph smash in a rocket-powered car.
Apparently his condition is stable and doctors are hopeful. The BBC issued a statement today saying that "We are pleased to hear that Richard has improved slightly overnight, but we continue to be concerned about his condition and we are keeping in touch with his family.
The circumstances of this accident will be fully investigated by the BBC, and this process began last night."

Welcome back, my friend...I've missed you!

It's so wierd not hanging out with my tv peops.... wierd shock to the system... Hoping to see you at the conference hey Sheets, and the afterparty at EQ, Craig de Sousa... Holla back me friend and I'll give you details.

I think Craig de Sousa is so cute - and he's such a nice person too. Last year, I interviewed him in EL. I met him at the airport, drove with him to his hotel and had the interview there...and later during his gig, I spent the evening with him in the DJ box. It was AWESOME!

About the conference - anything in specific that you recommend going to?

Good luck with the week-end!

Love you lots
Sheets
