Awards season continues

Something that is making huge news here in the States is the death of Former Playmate Anna Nicole Smith. She passed away on Thursday after apparently collapsing in her Florida hotel room. Despite the rumour mill buzzing with allegations of substance abuse, investigaters say that were no traces of illegal substances found in the her room. Doctors say that it'll take up to five weeks to determine the cause of Smith's untimely death. It really is a sad story and end to an already difficult life... I'll keep ya posted with any updates that become available.

Turning to some lighter news now the annual BAFTA Awards took place last night in that damn UK... here's a list of some of the winners:

Tonight sees the biggest night in music, The Grammys!!!! Yay. Sting and the Police will after four years reunite tonight to open the spectacle, which should be amazing. Also set to perform are Mary J.Blige, Christina Aguilera, James Blunt, Ludacris, Beyonce, John Legend and Gnarls Barkley... enough said, bring it!


Oh advice please.. So Christina is performing in Denver, four hours from here but manageable... on the 26th of this month. Now she'll be amazing to see, but what really caught my eye was the opening act for Xtina! The Pussycat Dolls, hotcity!!! and Danity Kane, they're P Diddy's little all girl group, not as good as the PCD's but how fun would that be? So the question is YES or NO? Help a brother out. Enjoy the Grammys peops!

Hi jas, its hayley here of Rhodes and of Journ, and of design and of "attempting to make embarrasing videos of my friends to later sell to heat magazine when they become rich and famous :)" so it seems you are in another land...wow very cool! i am too lazy to actually read the rest of your blog and figure out when this all happened but seems awesome my friend. cannot help you with pop music desicions i am afraid, not qualified in that department :( keep well and come and drop me a line on my blog :)

okay J, dare I say it? is this the Forest Whitaker year? I really liked Leo in Blood Diamond. This wait is excruciating let's get it over and done with already!!!

On the Xtina bit... Do you need to ask?!!! I mean I am not A PCD fan but I dig Christina SO... GREEN LIGHT GREEN LIGHT YES!!!!! GO brother man GO!!!!! :)
