A few Questions...

What is it about a television series that makes on fall completely "in love" with it? How do we become so obsessed with the characters, their lives and the many unfolding narratives. What is it the brings us to tears when something horrid and unexpected happens or on the flip side when something good happens? Those are a couple of questions running through my head at the moment. I'm not giving anything away but last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy was one of those moments, where nobody expects it and you find yourself going "oh please no... not that". Lost is just as bad, if not worse and Desperate Housewives is never short of entertainment and interesting plots and twists... If you're a Greys fan... Losing Denny or seeing that guy getting blown up by the bomb doesn't even come close to what happens in this episode... I look forward to chatting and hearing your thoughts on this! PS I can't wait for next week's episode!!! To quote my dear friend Carls "I'm Plutzing"

Haai poep, so when do you get back from the U.S.??? What happened to forcing me to email huh??? Jokes cooks, hope you're well! I smsed you the other day, but didn't get a response, so thought you hated me. But then I realised that you're still in the states (i hope...otherwise you do hate me:( )Anyways, I have a new email adress: deborah.kanfer@gmail.com, so would LOVE ot hear from you on a personal basis!! Hope you well my friend! let me know when you're back in s.a. Are you back for grad??Lots love Debs P.S. if you are able to enter my blog from this post, PLEASE DON"T cause it is no where NEAR finished!

J, I don't know if I should smack you because you are already watching Grey's ( I am totally jealous):) or just hope to the good lord you don't slip one day and accidentally let the cat out of the bag. :)

But back to your issue of falling in love with the shows, I totally get that hey! When Charmed ended, as sad as it sounds, I felt like I lost something really special. I mean it was just a show, with three kickass chicks and occasionally a really yummy guy drifted in. :)

Someone once asked me this about the TV show addiction "Is our lives so, need I say it, uninteresting that we get so caught up in their lives?" My reply, no not really, they just make it seem more entertaining and they give us something to laugh about, cry about and sometimes remind us why we are who we are. a tad too philosophical for a simple TV show I know but what can I say, I like TV:)
