Where does time go?
it's been a while sinse my last post... reason? I'm to preoccupied with Facebook... it's addictive and I'm sure anyone who know's what's it's about knows how addictive it is.
But I'm back and I've been tagged by VErge to let everyone out there know at least 5things about me that most don't know:
1. I love music... it's my life. Radio, CDs, books, concerts, record deals... anything musicly driven is where I'll be.
2. I want to be an MTV presenter and/or radio DJ...Blah blah blah everyone wants to be one... Only difference is I just really do and I plan to make it a reality. It's not because I want to be rich and famous and on TV. It is a career I've wanted since I can remember. Why? It combines music, entertainment and TV. I feel I could contribute something significant to the industry and be good at it... I want people to recognise my skill and talent, drive and love for the job.
3. I have a dog named Bega- after Lou Bega.... Mambo number 5! It was a phase, what can I say. He's a rocking, long haired jack russel... who's my bud and I dig him. Oh and he's blind and scratches a stack!
4. I like Nic have more female friends then I do male friends... that's just the way it is. Studying Journ at Rhodes has a tendency to do that to a dude! Lady friends are great though 'cause they're extremely useful when there are womaly troubles in a guy's life, and they're awesome too in general erso!
5. I used to hate taking lunch to school? Just didnt like eating in front of people... wierd huh? Luckily this little piggy got over that :)
So there you have it...
In the two weeks that I haven't blogged lotsa entertaining things have happened. Apparently Britney threatened to hang herself, missed that one? Hello female martyr, maybe she just felt a close connection to the late Saddam Husein in that moment in time? Brangelina are allegedly in the process of growing their little nursery, George Clooney seems ready to join the adopting world too... and Avril and Hilary Duff both have two new and awesomely good songs (Girlfriend and With Love respectively). Oh and Beyonce and Shakira team up to create the song Beautiful Liar- They could be sisters you know! See the video below, I like:
But they only thing that really seems to strike me, and it has nothing to do with entertainment is the fact that tomorrow I lose an hour... How? Well I dunno... I just do. It's Daylight Savings, Spring- forward. There therefore are many countires that will be adding more sunlight to their days by losing an hour- Make any sense? Well let me put this into perspective. I have to wake up at 5am tomorrow morning to work at Paradise bakery at 5:30... but because of this stupid invention I will actually be waking up at what I have come to know as 4am! So will tomorrow be the longest, most tiring and painful day at work? I feel it may... if you're interested in reading up on Daylight Savings and its origins click here!
Anyway's I'm down to my last week in the toystore, YAY! Laura and I had to entertain ourselves the other day, so we had a photoshoot right here... whilst unpacking boxes. it brought some entertainment to our day, so I'll get hold of the pictures tomorrow. SOme of them are but special... and my travelling adventures commence in 9days, vegas baby here I come! Miami- be prepared the fat, white and pale whale is coming and as for New York... uhhhh... New York I'm coming home ;)
Oh well... for now it's back to toys! Laterz
