X Factor winner Leona Lewis is flying! She has enjoyed topping the charts in countries all over the globe... So naturally the English beauty decided to hop across the Atlantic to try her luck at the infamous US market. Well in short she cracked in. Her single "Bleeding Love" (see the video below) jumped up the charts to a place she enjoys, that of number one. It was just for one week, but hey, one week one number one... that aint to shabby. The interesting thing is that Mariah's single "Touch My Body" kicked Lewis's single off the charts.

Just when you think Leona's short lived number one success was done, she breaks another record. Her debut album, "Spirit" went in straight at number one, making her the first British artist to do this ever. WELL DONE. Now industry experts are interested to see how "Little Whitney" will fair against Mariah, as she releases her new album (E=MC2) this week. Interesting times lie ahead... Other albums dropping this week include newly- engaged, Ashlee Simpson. Talk about bad timing. Again experts are saying if Simpson's album flops, this could be the end for her. Her marketing team have been working flat out though. Think about it:
1. Ashlee gets engaged
2. Ashlee's pregnant
Oh and by the way Ashlee drops her new album (Bittersweet World- oh so apt) this week. Clever people, but seriously we're on to you :)

And then don't forget Madonna releases her 11th studio album on the 28th called Hard Candy. It looks as though Leona is in for a very interesting ride. For now though, here's her music video for you viewing pleasure:
