This blog is dedicated to entertainment, as I'm sure many of you are aware. So would it not be feesible to bring you up to scratch with the latest in the Survivor installment? Well this time there's a twist. If there are any Americans reading this blog I regret to inform you that entries aren't open to you this time... in fact, entries have closed. And 14 South Africans have been selected, and believe it or not already battled it out in Panama to be be the ultimate Survivor. There's now just under three weeks to go, and my am I excited. Punting MNET here, so here it goes...
Survivor South Africa: the Panama first season starts on MNET, 3 September 18:00. I would like to take a brief survey:
Do you think this will be good?1. Yes
2. No
I am also quite interested to see what host Mark Bayly (right)- a Capetonian has to offer. There

is no doubt in my mind that most people are going to compare him to the 'great' Jeff Probst, but as Head of MNET's official productions
Carl Fisher says it wasn't an easy task,
“Our mission was to look for someone without any strong association with an existing television programme; possibly a new face that would fit into the Survivor programme's profile. We were thrilled when Mark turned up to audition. He is an intelligent action man, he looks the part and he has an incredible screen presence.”
